Sarah

Owner & Creative Director

With a passion for crafting bespoke celebrations, Sarah is known for creating weddings that are deeply personal, effortlessly sophisticated, and alive with energy. Her greatest fulfillment comes from witnessing her clients fully immersed in the joy of the moments she so thoughtfully brings to life.

A native Washingtonian, Sarah earned her degree in Business Administration from Towson University before founding Sarah Kazemburg Events in 2016. Blending local sensibility, business acumen, and a refined creative vision, she has quickly become recognized as one of the region’s leading event planners. Since 2019, she has been consistently named a Top Event Planner by Washingtonian Magazine. Her work has been recognized by top publications including Over the Moon, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Carats & Cake, and more.

Celebrated for her calm, positive presence and her ability to navigate challenges with grace, Sarah is equally admired for her strong eye for design and her commitment to elevating every aspect of the client experience.

Beyond her work, Sarah loves embracing creativity in all its forms — especially through travel, fashion, interior design and culinary adventures.

Michelle

Associate Planner

Michelle joined the SKE team in 2018, bringing with her a background in corporate event planning and hands-on experience as a bridal attendant at a private club. Her genuinely kind nature, strong work ethic, and deep understanding of wedding logistics have made her an invaluable part of the team — and a favorite among both clients and creative partners.

Passionate about building meaningful relationships, Michelle is dedicated to ensuring that every couple’s planning journey feels seamless, supported, and stress-free. Alongside her years of experience producing weddings with SKE, she also holds a Certified Meeting Professional designation, reflecting her expertise and commitment to excellence.
